Resource and Referral Centers

crc2 The Community Resource Center of Jackson Hole (307) 739-4500 170 N. Glenwood Street (In the St. John’s Episcopal Church complex) The Community Resource Center is a source for agency referrals, emergency assistance and support, and poverty prevention education.  It is the intake agency for several services, including the Jackson Food Cupboard and the Salvation Army.

Glenwood Street (In the St. John’s Episcopal Church complex) The Latino Resource Center is an information center for Teton County’s Latino community, acting as a liaison between the Latino community, government agencies and businesses. Working closely with private and public entities, the LRC ensures that Spanish speaking community members have equal access to services and programs. The LRC offers translation services and referrals to other agencies.

State of Wyoming Agencies

dfsWyoming Department of Family Services (307) 733-7751 145 W. Gill Avenue The WDFS administers the many of the state’s social services. Programs the department runs include: the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (often referred to as food stamps), the POWER program (also known as the state welfare program), the Women, Infant and Children (WIC) program, and the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP), child support enforcement, and child protective services.

Gill Avenue The local office of the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services offers job search and placement assistance.  It also administers several job training and education programs. This is also the office where people apply to receive unemployment benefits.

Food Resources

Food give-away Jackson Food Cupboard (307) 739-4500 170 N. Glenwood Street (in the basement of St. John’s Episcopal Church) Those in need can pick up donated food at the cupboard on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4:00PM to 6:00PM. Call the Community Resource Center for more information.

The Good Samaritan Mission (307) 733-3165 285 W. Pearl Avenue The Good Samaritan Mission offers temporary shelter and food to those in need.

Presbyterian Church of Jackson Hole (307) 734-0388 1251 S. Park Loop Road The Presbyterian Church offers free community dinners every Wednesday Night that are open to the public.

Health Services

free-cldsadnjkTeton Free Clinic (307) 739-7492 557 E. Broadway (in Dr. Sudgen’s office) The clinic provides medical care to people without health insurance that make less than 200% of Area Median Income.   The clinic is open on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7:45 PM.

El Puente (Healthmap) (307) 739-4544 460 E. Pearl Avenue El Puente offers medical Spanish-English translation services to improve access to health care.

Jackson Hole Community Counseling Center (307) 733-2046 640 E. Broadway The Jackson Hole Community Counseling Center delivers mental health services through: individual, group and family therapy, case management, rehabilitative services, and job coaching for center clients. It also offers crisis intervention services 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.

The Curran-Seeley Foundation (307) 733-3908 610 W. Broadway Curran-Seeley provides comprehensive alcohol and drug counseling, treatment and prevention services to the residents of Teton & Sublette Counties, and surrounding communities who may be suffering from substance abuse problems and their effects.

Crime Victims’ Resources

header_safe1_962x1951 Community Safety Network (307) 733-3711, 24-hour Help-Line: (307) 733-SAFE 650 Hall Avenue CSN provides support, advocacy, shelter, and assistance to those affected by domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. by Teton County law enforcement. Services are available any time of the day or night, free of charge and completely confidential by calling CSN’s help-line.

Teton County Victim Services (307) 732-8424 180 S. Willow Street The Victim Services Department informs all crime victims of their rights and available services.  They provide comprehensive services to educate, empower, and advocate for the crime victim.  Reach the 24 hour on-call advocate by calling the Sheriff’s dispatcher at 733-2331.
