Once Habitat knows we will have land to build a new home, we begin our Family Selection process. Family Selection starts several months before we begin construction on a home.
The application process begins with a one-hour information session where people learn more about Habitat, our family selection process, and our home building program. At the conclusion of the information session, we provide all attendees with applications.
Applications are only available at the information sessions and one adult member of the applicant household must attend the information session in order for the application to be accepted.
Habitat’s homes are available to all who meet our family selection criteria, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status or national origin.
