Habitat for Humanity Celebrates Completion of Old Bill's Home 4

September 13, 2005 - On Thursday, September 15, 2005, Habitat for Humanity and the Shindell family will celebrate the completion of another home in Melody Ranch.

Kimberly Shindell, and her children, McKinley and Bean, will receive the keys to their new home on Thursday evening at 5:30 pm. Habitat invites all supporters to come for a tour of the home and to celebrate with the Shindell family.

This is the eighth Habitat home in Jackson and the fourth built with donations made to Habitat through Old Bill’s Fun Run. Habitat is preparing to start another home in Melody Ranch that will be completed in the spring.

Thursday’s festivities will take place at 4176 Melody Ranch Drive. Please call 734-0828 or click here for directions.

Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Teton Area builds basic homes and sells them at cost with a no-interest loan to low-income families. Homeowners are chosen based on their need for housing, their ability to make a mortgage payment, and their willingness to invest 500 hours of sweat equity into the construction of their home. Habitat homes are built primarily by volunteers and with the support of local donors. For more information, visit www.tetonhabitat.org.
