Habitat for Humanity Celebrates Completion of Old Bill's Home 3

JACKSON, Wyoming - April 18, 2005 - On Thursday, April 21, 2005, Habitat for Humanity and the Watsabaugh family will celebrate the completion of a home in Melody Ranch.

Ingrid Watsabaugh, and her children, Jesse and Jack, will receive the keys to their new home on Thursday evening at 6:00 pm. This special event is open to the public and will include free dinner and prizes.

This is the third home Habitat has built with donations made to Habitat through Old Bill’s Fun Run. Habitat volunteers are currently working on a fourth “Old Bill’s Home,” which will be completed later this year.

Thursday’s festivities will take place at 815 Morgan Lane in Melody Ranch. Please call 734-0828 or visit www.tetonhabitat.org for directions.

Habitat for Humanity builds homes with those in need in Teton County. Homes are built by volunteers and are then sold to pre-selected partner families with a no-interest, no-profit mortgage. Homeowners are required to contribute 500 hours of “sweat equity” to their home before they are allowed to move in.
