Crew Leader

Want to be a Construction Site Crew Leader?

Habitat is offering a special training for volunteers interested in gaining construction skills and leadership experience by becoming a Crew Leader.

A Habitat Crew Leader can lead a group of at least three volunteers through a specific aspect of construction, such as framing, roofing, insulation, sheetrock, or finish carpentry.  No experience is necessary – Crew Leader candidates will receive training on each topic, as well as coaching on teaching and managing volunteers, through hands on training.  Crew Leaders will assist the Construction Manager at the jobsite on Saturdays (as available) by supervising a group of unskilled volunteers in their area of expertise.  Crew Leader status will be granted once the Construction Manager determines that the candidate can safely and effectively lead volunteers.  Crew Leaders will work alongside other Crew Leaders and Habitat staff and will wear blue hardhats that make Crew Leaders easily identifiable on the jobsite.

Interested volunteers should email volunteer@tetonhabitat.org, call 307-734-0828, or fill out the form below.
