Community Foundation of Jackson Hole Awards $100,000 to Teton Habitat

Teton Habitat is proud to announce a $100,000 gift from the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole (CFJH) as part of their Housing Solutions Initiative. This generous donation will be used to help build housing at our Parkside at Benson-Brown Station project.

“Our community housing needs to look like building affordable houses for local families, securing affordable rental rates for year-long valley residents as well as seasonal workers, removing barriers to move up from entry-level to mid-range priced homeownership, providing living spaces for chronically unhoused populations, ensuring transitional housing for families or individuals in need of a safe place to live – and many more.” - Housing Solutions Initiative, CFJH

The Community Foundation of Jackson Hole recognizes Teton Habitat for our critical work in building and selling housing units, and partnering with homeowners through sweat equity, homeownership education, and individual commitment.

Parkside at Benson-Brown Station is an 18-unit housing development being built in partnership with Teton County and the Jackson/Teton County Housing Department. Parkside will be completed in three phases, with six units in each phase. This project includes a mix of 2- and 3-bedroom units to better address the diverse needs of local families and individuals earning between 30 and 80% Area Median Income (AMI).

Our success is made possible in part through the support of organizations like the Community Foundation and individual donors.
