Teton Habitat & the Parkside at Benson-Brown Station have been awarded $300,000 through partnership with Bank of Jackson Hole and the Federal Home Loan Bank

Teton Habitat is pleased to announce we have been selected to receive a $300,000 grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (FHLB Des Moines) through the Competitive Affordable Housing Program (AHP). The AHP provides down payment assistance, building, or rehabilitation funds to organizations working to provide affordable housing options in their communities.

Teton Habitat worked with FHLB Des Moines member institution Bank of Jackson Hole on the application for Phase 2 of Parkside at Benson-Brown Station. Bank of Jackson Hole has been a strong advocate for affordable housing in the Teton region and a Teton Habitat financial sponsor for many years. We were proud to work with them on this grant opportunity.

“Now more than ever, we need to come together as a community to support affordable housing and ensure hardworking local families have decent, affordable homes. Teton Habitat is able to provide this critical housing through the generous support of organizations like FHLB and individual donors.” shared Kris Greenville, Executive Director of Teton Habitat.

Parkside at Benson-Brown Station will be an 18-unit housing development built in partnership with Teton County and the Jackson/Teton County Housing Department. Parkside will be completed in three phases, with six units in each phase. This project includes a mix of 2- and 3-bedroom units to better address the diverse needs of local families and individuals earning up to 80% Area Median Income (AMI).
